BOAT BUILDING

BOAT BUILDING CAMPS take students on an exciting journey of measuring, fitting, assembling, and finishing a small rowing skiff, which they launch and row at the end of the two week camp. Camp times are 10 AM to 3 PM Monday-Friday.

 

Student cost of this fun two week camp is $500. $50 due at registration, with the balance due on or before the first day of the program. Payments are accepted online via the link below, or by mailing a check to 2114 West 22nd Place, Chicago, IL 60608
(please include the participant’s name).

 

We do offer scholarships! Simply submit an essay written by the student to info@chicagomaritime.org stating why they wish to attend and acknowledging that the cost of the camp is a hardship. If you are able to pay any portion of the camp cost, it helps us help more kids.

A Participant Release and Indemnification Consent Form must be completed and signed prior to the beginning of camp. This form may be emailed to info@chicagomaritime.org.

 

Upon REGISTRATION, each participant will receive a welcome email stating what to bring and what is expected.
